John (Drangoncoles) popped up on my Skype one day to tell me this valid story of free Microsoft Points (the currency used to buy things over XBOX LIVE or Zune songs) He told me a promotion was happing now that would let people earn free Microsoft points if they rated cars and submitted them also. Problem is it’s a US only comp…that really didn’t stop me.

I quickly made a US silver account, and started earning…now when I say I like free promotions I REALLY MEAN IT! I now have 5 accounts set to make 2000 points a piece; that’s £85 worth of MS points…I was going to try 10 accounts but I think 5 is enough.

The promotion ends on the 25th August, so just in time really for a late birthday present.

It’s coming up, it’s soon, it’s my day that I will be 14, but I also want to make more movies, get a better microphone and improve the quality of the content I produce. If you would kindly donate 5$ or even 10$, I would be very grateful towards you, and even so much as kiss your feet!

With the emerging statistics that FireFox has broken the most downloaded software record, I thought I would dig up some staticstics using some maths and a calculator.

Downloaded In 24 Hours: 8,002,530
Downloaded Every Hour: 333,438
Downloaded Every Minute: 5,557
Downloaded Every Second: 92

And server wise, the FireFox 3 is 7MB file, so 8,002,530 x 7 = 56,017,710 Mb Which is 56.01 Terrabytes.
