Portal Pin-on Buttons
December 16th, 2008Two weeks ago I bought some 30 odd Portal video game buttons from a man named Sleven11; he runs a shop selling different assortments of items including: badges and vectored images. I was quickly browsing the Portal fansite ThinkingWithPortals.com which had a post about a guy from Philadelphia, US who was selling these amazing buttons.
I didn’t need to think about what I was doing next, as I signed up for the website and pressed the buy button on the page, and for $20 or £13 of your earth ££ you can do the same.
Mee’ Harrteeyyss’ Pull’ ye’ Banhammer
December 1st, 2008Normally on my blog I’m not very topically in tune with the current events of tomorrow, but for once I’ve really decided that is is an ‘epic win’ for Microsoft in their recent crusades of banning on Xbox Live.
Pirating video games may have it’s pro’s and con’s but at the end of the day, you’re stealing £££ from game developers, and nobody wants that. Recent events lead to many titles being leaked early to the internet by shops breaking the street date…*cough* 7-11 and Australia; but sources are never always confirmed.
The long list of games scans ‘ya’ high:
Gears of War 2 was leaked nearly 1 month before the game’s intended release along with Fable 2, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Call of Duty: World At War, Mirrors Edge and Need For Speed: Undercover…which swiftly brings me to how lots of happy pirates got themselfs into a bit of a pickle.

November 24th, 2008Yesterday I was reading Twitter and Shawn Elliot posted a link to an epic thread that contained this:
Now clocking over 3.6 million page views and 76 pages worth of posts, this was one craaaazzzy thread, if only GFW radio was still around with Shawn and Jeff, maybe I would have heard it the following week in a classy re-enactment.
I’ve done my own, Heroes of the Web esc style thing that you can hear here: http://is.gd/8QmW
